To create our unique product, we used the latest technology and innovation in the industry. We sourced materials from the US and tried and tested the product over a number of years. The resulted in an type of artificial grass which can withstand pet waste, unlike other products on the market.
The grass is made using anti-porous polymers which repel liquid and prevent pet urine from soaking into the grass. Other, cheaper products on the market are made using latex which is a porous material. Over time, latex absorbs pet urine and becomes a hot bed for bacteria. Pet owners are also left with nasty odours which are difficult to remove.
Cheaper artificial grass products have also been found to contain lead which can be harmful to dogs. At PetTurf, however, we guarantee that our grass contains hypoallergenic products which are 100% safe for pets.

An unrivalled artificial grass installation system
As we constantly adapt our products, we also adapt our installation system. This helps us to ensure we remain at the forefront of the industry and provide you with the best service possible.
Our installation process includes the following stages:
● Basework
● PetTurf Rapid Flow Technology
● PetTurf Zeolite Infill
● PetTurf Enzyme Cleaner
The first part of our process involves a complete excavation of the area. This helps to remove any debris and rocks to ensure the surface is smooth. It also allows the team to inspect the area and check for any roots or growth that need to be removed.
A layer of crushed rock and grano is then applied to the surface which provides a solid foundation. The mixture also enables excess liquid to drain freely through the artificial turf. Plastic battens are then installed around the perimeter using concrete. They also reinforce the grass once installed.
Once the foundations are installed, the team then lay the grass and backing which is fitted with PetTurf Rapid Flow Technology. This technology has been proven to enhance drainage by up to 400%. The backing consists of four layers which are all designed to boost the life span of the grass. They include one 5-pick layer, two dense gauge woven layers and a final coating of urethane compound.
Once the grass and backing has been installed, a layer of PetTurf Zeolite Infill is spread across the grass surface. Made using organic ingredients, this porous material provides an added barrier to the grass by absorbing liquids. It therefore protects the grass from the build-up of harmful bacteria and nasty odours.
Finally, the team give the turf a thorough clean using our organic PetTurf Enzyme Cleaner. This mixture contains natural enzymes which break down any organic waste. This therefore enables any bacteria to be easily rinsed away.

They are also designed to completely penetrate the turf to ensure each layer of your garden is clean and bacteria free. They do so by breaking down any bacteria so it can be easily rinsed away. This process also prevents the spread of bad odours by removing the source.
